Fresh produce from the Sunday morning market at La Londe and other markets is a short drive from your holiday get-away. So are the varied wines of the many famous local Provencal vineyards. These include the Chateau de Bregancon, Domaines Ott, St Andre de Figuiere, Malherbe, Tamary, Chateau de Sainte-Marguerite, Pas du Cerf and Maravenne.

A (Highly Prejudiced) La Londe Wine Guide

It is no secret that a visit to the nearby towns yields some of the finest wines in the world. What follows is an incomplete list, to whet your appetite (links are provided where available):

Chateau de Bregancon
This sprawling property has been Cru Classe for more than half a century. Find out why by paying them a visit. You’ll discover that the reds – and especially the roses — are to be relished.
Domaine de la Sangliere
Olivier and Remy Devictor are often mentioned in the many wine guides — which wouldn’t be so impressive except this is a small vineyard, tucked away and for years overlooked.
Chateau Maravenne
You’ll find some wonderful red and rose wines that have won awards at Macon and Paris.
Chateau Sainte Marguerite
Undeniably some of the finest wines in the area, particularly some outstanding whites and rich reds.
Domaine de Tamary
Here you’ll find exceptional flavour from a modest vineyard.
Chateau de Jasson
Enjoy the rose, with seafood or on its own.
Chateau Pas du Cerf
A valley overlooking La Londe is home to grapes that yield exquisite white, rose and red wines.
Saint Andre de Figuiere
This family came to La Londe from Chablis. It shows in their whites, which are a delight. A 70+ hectare vineyard is welcoming and rewarding.
Clos Mireille Domaines Ott
The house of Ott is renowned for its roses, but this particular vineyard on the Route des Vins has equally impressive whites. They’ve been showcased in some of the best Europe hotels and restaurants

This is just a taste of the riches from the earth that await you and your guests. Do they enjoy beaches or golf? A stay at our villa will not disappoint!
