Top Level: The Master Bedroom

The master bedroom features a king size bed and flat screen television. At the foot of the bed are sliding doors leading to a private terrace overlooking the Mediterranean.The master bedroom of Villa Mathilde features a king size bed, a walk-in dressing/wardrobe area, and a large, elegant adjoining bathroom. In addition to the WC, the Master Bathroom features a Villeroy & Boch bath, a marble-lined shower and double wash basins made from a single piece of marble.

The master bedroom also features a flat screen television, complemented by a Bose radio/CD player.

This double bedroom opens out onto a private terrace with fantastic views of the Mediterranean and the islands of Levant, Porquerolles and Port Cros.

Middle Level: Kitchen Area, Games Room and Lounge

Our kitchen is modern and inviting. It is ideal for preparing meals for a few or many, using fresh ingredients purchased from the village marketsThe SieMatic kitchen is contemporary – it is large and opens out onto a covered terrace area for outdoor dining via two sliding doors, with a tables inside and out for entertaining 10-to-12 people. It has two big 900mm wide Smeg ovens and Gaggenau appliances with convection hob, American fridge freezer, dishwasher and Franke waste disposal unit.

The flat screen television delivers TV and Radio programming via satellite, as do all of the televisions in the villa. The ceiling-mounted Bose speakers deliver perfect quality sound throughout the middle level – inside, outside the kitchen and around the pool.

Congregate in the kitchen or drift into the inviting lounge area, which steps out onto sprawling terraces and an outdoor dining area.The large, open plan lounge area has yet another flat screen TV and is home to the state-of-the-art Bose sound system. It also has air cooling, a working fireplace and a formal dining area that seats up to 10 people.

An eclectic mix of traditional and modern design, this room and much of this level features art and curios collected from travels around India and Asia.

Our billiards table dates back to the early 20th century. It remains an excellent entertainment for your guests. A television, stereo and wet bar round out this lounge.The billiard / snooker room has a three quarter sized antique table dating back to 1900 – snooker is the main activity with balls and cues available for use. The room also has a wall mounted flat screen TV and a separate Denon sound system. Bring your iPod. The sound system, which is wired to play music throughout the villa should you wish, accommodates your iPod or other portable music player as a source.

There is an honesty bar in the billiard room – we ask that our guests replace what they use.

A cloakroom is also on this floor, with a convenient washroom, WC and large cloak cupboard.

Lower Level: Four Guest Bedrooms and Big Screen TV Lounge

Bedroom 2

This spacious room at the end of the west corridor has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower and WC.

Like all of the guest bedrooms, Bedroom 3 has direct access to the stone portico via floor-to-ceiling glass doors.This room has a flat screen TV and a spacious, built-in wardrobe.

Bedroom 3

Lower Lounge

The main wall of the lounge displays a dazzling 43-inch plasma screen television with a 5 speaker ceiling mounted surround sound system. Wired into this same spectacular sound system is a CD and DVD player. The bookcase is well stocked with all manner of media: books, over 50 DVDs, CDs, games and puzzles.

Bedroom 4

The Bedroom 5 Shower Room is an example of the marble used throughout. You will find that our facilities are comparable to the finest homes and luxury hotels.This room has twin beds. Bedroom 5

At the end of the east corridor, this room has a super king  sized double bed. The en-suite shower room and WC is clad with marble and has marbled paint finished walls and ceiling. You can see a few photos of the interior in this Flickr.com slideshow.
